Are you a woman residing in one of Kano’s vibrant communities? Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the environment while building your own micro-business from the comfort of your home? If so, we have exciting news for you!
AEL Household Plastic Waste Collection Project is Expanding!
We’re on a mission to empower 50 more incredible women from the heart of Kano. These exceptional women will become Anthophila Empire Collection Agents, championing the cause of a cleaner, greener planet, and fostering community resilience.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Collection Agent, your role will be to gather plastic waste materials from your community, including areas such as Danbare, Rijiyar Zaki, Rimin Gata, and many more, and deliver them to our processing facilities in Rimin Gata and FTZ Fanisau.

What’s in it for You?
Empowerment: You’ll receive starting capital in cash and kind (everyday items like spices, noodles, detergent soaps) to kick-start your plastic waste collection efforts.
Rewards: You’ll be compensated based on the amount of plastic waste you collect, with payments made immediately upon reaching our processing facility.
Impact: Your work will contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment, promote a sustainable circular economy, and empower women in Kano, reducing gender discrimination and mitigating climate change.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a resident in one of the specified catchment areas.
Have a space to gather plastic waste, particularly PET (plastic bottles) and LDPE (pure water sachets), with a minimum quantity of 300kg SPACE.
Passionate about micro-business and committed to working and reporting from your household.
